Vintage 1950s Fischer Dubrovnik Combo…Vintage 1950s Fischer Dubrovnik Combo Chess Set with Folding Golden Rosewood & Maple Board

The original Dubrovnik chessmen were carved in the 1950s and 1960s in the workshop of master carver Jakopović, and Bobby Fischer famously named them his favorite design. This set is a faithful reproduction of that pattern, with extra ballast in the base and the chunky, well-proportioned profile collectors know, paired with a folding golden rosewood and maple board that doubles as storage. It is a fitting choice for collectors of chess history and for players who want a classic design for regular games at home.
