1970s Dubrovnik Chess Pieces Only –…1970s Dubrovnik Chess Pieces Only – Rosewood & Boxwood, 3.8" King

These rosewood and boxwood chessmen follow the 1970s Dubrovnik pattern, a later version of the 1950s design that introduced a better-shaped knight and a broader rook. Reconstructed with reference to photographs of antique originals, the pieces have thick, heavy-looking bases and smooth, rounded tops. They are well suited to regular club play and to collectors building a set of reproduction designs.
